PhotographerAnna Morgowicz Kuona is a 700-square-foot concierge eye clinic in Lower Manhattan, at the base on the Beekman Hotel, that reimagines healthcare as an immersive, hospitality-driven interior, replacing the sterility of a traditional optometry office with the atmosphere of a boutique hotel lounge.

The space unfolds through layers of walnut millwork, sculptural glass block, natural linens, and high-gloss lacquered surfaces. The visitor is guided from a softly lit retail gallery of eyewear displays into clinical rooms softened by lime washed walls, brass portals, and decorative mirrors. An intimate styling vanity is carved into a marble-lined nook and framed by glowing sphere sconces, creating a moment of pause for personalized consultation.

Drawing on mid-century references and warm, tactile materials, the project seamlessly blends retail, wellness, and personalized service into a balanced spatial narrative that transforms routine eye care into a refined, design-forward experience.
